Kaba Adds New Safe Lock to its Americas Product Lineup

Kaba announces the addition of Axessor to its comprehensive safe lock product line available in the Americas. Designed to secure assets, Axessor also increases operational efficiencies with its remote programming and monitoring capabilities.

“Axessor has already proven itself,” said Orlando Consalvi, senior sales manager OEM sales. “The lock has a worldwide installation base of over 20,000 IP locks with the bulk of the locks in retail and financial institutions.” Axessor is also ideal for hotels, post offices, government facilities, and restaurant chains.

“With Axessor, Kaba delivers yet another solution that meets a variety of our retail customers’ needs,” said Consalvi. “Axessor is both modular and flexible; it allows administrators to manage just a few locks or thousands. Programming can be done either at the keypad or with software through the USB.”

Axessor is available in three versions: Axessor USB, Axessor IP, and Axessor CIT. Axessor USB connects to the computer using a standard USB port on the input unit.

Users can set the lock parameters via the USB interface as well as download audit events. Axessor IP connects to a TCP/IP network for centrally controlling locks and adjusting settings. Axessor CIT is the stand-alone mode and offers a one-time combination for cash-in-transit operations.

In addition to the diverse model options, Axessor has five input and five output ports that can be used for connection to auxiliary devices, such as CCTV and alarm systems The lock and software are available in 10 different languages to accommodate worldwide usage.
