2018 GRAORCA Retail Crime Conference

The annual conference is in its 8th year and will continue to build on its mission of providing law enforcement and loss prevention professionals with opportunities to come together for a day of networking, training and information sharing. The GRAORCA Retail Crime Conference will be held at The Hyatt Regency in Downtown Atlanta on August 29, 2018 from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. LPM will be present at this event.

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office Regional Organized Crime 8th Annual Training and Conference

  • When? September 5-6
  • Where? Oak Brook, IL

In June 2010, law enforcement personnel and corporate retail partners came together to discuss the issues of organized retail crime. In an effort to more efficiently and effectively prevent, investigate and prosecute these criminals, those individuals have together created the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office Regional Organized Crime Task Force. Guest speakers at the 8th annual training and conference will include Bill Kurtis; Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx; Superintendent Eddie T. Johnson of the Chicago Police Department; and FBI Special Agent in Charge Jeffery Sallet. Topics will cover fraud, crypto-currency, terrorism, the opioid epidemic, interrogation techniques, active shooter pre-indicators, and much more.

Retail Council of Canada Retail Secure Conference 2018

RCC Retail Secure is Retail Council of Canada’s newly expanded loss prevention conference designed for retailers. This all-day event will explore three significant issues in the changing reality of retail: fraud protection, data security and loss prevention. To provide depth on these issues, specialized educational sessions have been developed for attendees to customize their learning experience during the conference. Leading security, protection and prevention experts will present best practices and improvement strategies.
