Fraudster Sentenced to Prison for Stealing $382K in Credit Card Fraud Scheme

Yoandy Pou Torres, a 37-year-old Las Vegas man, was sentenced to prison in a Pittsburgh court for stealing more than $382,000 in a fraudulent credit card scheme on Tuesday, January 28.

According to a release from the Justice Department, Pou Torres used counterfeit credit cards encoded with stolen bank account information to purchase MasterCard gift cards at Sam’s Club stores in the Pittsburgh area and in Florida and California.
