Police Shoot Fleeing Shoplifting Suspect inside Store

A police-involved shooting has been reported in Randallstown, Maryland. According to Baltimore County Police, just before 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, officers responded to the Liberty Court shopping center, for a theft from the Dollar Tree store. The suspect was seen walking across the parking lot by approaching officers. Police say that officers saw the man pull out at least one weapon and run. The suspect then reportedly ran into the Aldi store.

Police say several employees and customers had to flee and hide. The suspect was allegedly seen holding a weapon. There was an altercation between the officers and the suspect while inside the Aldi store. Police say at least one officer fired their service weapon, striking the suspect. The suspect was taken to a local hospital. His condition is unclear. Police say they cannot confirm the suspect’s weapons at this time. One officer suffered minor injuries during the chase.   [Source: ABC7 WJLA News]
