As the national debate intensifies on when and how to reopen businesses, The Kroger Co. released a downloadable resource called “Sharing What We’ve Learned: A Blueprint for Businesses” with comprehensive information related to operating a safe retail environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a video message Kroger’s Chairman and CEO Rodney McMullen explained that this first installment “includes recommendations, insights, best practices, and downloadable creative assets to help businesses navigate the next phase of this unprecedented pandemic.”
The “downloadable creative assets” include numerous signage and audio files that retailers can print out for use in stores or as announcements over in-store audio system to remind employees and customers to follow CDC recommended social distancing and hygiene procedures.
As part of this outreach to the community and the retail industry, the grocer has launched a unique website called KrogerBlueprint.com that will be continually updated with new information.
