3VR has announced Douglas Florence joined the company as senior sales director for the western United States and Asia Pacific. Board certified in security management, Florence brings deep experience in security, surveillance, business continuity planning, and investigation operations in gaming, retail, and corporate security.

“In today’s evolving business environment, surveillance directors are tasked with creating a strong business case, often involving multiple stakeholders from IT, operations, marketing, and management to justify surveillance system upgrades and enhancements,” Florence said. “3VR’s VisionPoint™ VMS helps deliver a compelling return on investment by combining into one single platform powerful search capabilities that help organizations find relevant information and evidence in just minutes, with video analytics that proactively capture, analyze and translate visual data into strategic insights that drive better business decisions.”

“Douglas brings over 40 years of security and investigations expertise across a variety of industries,” said Andrew Chapman, senior vice president of sales at 3VR. “His unique background and experience addressing the largest security challenges of the $115 Billiondollar gaming industry, while also ensuring customer trust will be a valuable asset across all industries that 3VR serves. I am thrilled to welcome him to the 3VR team.”
