Best Security Industries (BSI), a provider of certified, pre-owned and private label electronic article surveillance (EAS) systems and engineered IP video solutions, today announced that is has hired Wayne A. Smith as its new senior director of supply chain operations. Smith will report to Eric Brotherhood, senior vice president of EAS operations, and work from the company’s headquarters in Delray Beach, Florida.
“We are fortunate to have Wayne join our team, and will definitely take advantage of the fact that he has spent the last 12 years advancing in Supply Chain responsibility in our industry,” said Brotherhood. “He brings a level of professionalism and proactive planning that will allow us to better meet the demands of our customers, both selling and buying, as well as identifying and developing outlets for our legacy and certified pre-owned products.”
As part of his duties as the senior director of supply chain operations, Smith will have direct responsibility over product sourcing, procurement and inventory management, with a focus on EAS products.
