Genetec Now Fully Supported by NDVision, the Breakthrough Analog-to-IP Conversion Device from USS

NDVision, the new solution from USS that generated enormous interest at NRF Protect conference, is fully compatible with Genetec video management system (VMS).

“This means that companies with a large number of analog cameras can now take advantage of the full feature set of Genetec’s VMS without having to invest in new cameras or multiple types of analog-to-IP conversion hardware,” said Gerald Becker, USS’ vice president for physical security.

According to Becker, NDVision is the only one-box solution for analog-to-digital migration in the market today. It does the job of encoders, switches and video recorder all in one unit.

“NDVision was designed to be the simplest, quickest and most cost effective way to go from analog to IP,” added Becker. “And to accomplish that, we built it as an on open platform solution, which means that it can support different VMS software. We are very happy that Genetec is now one of the VMS’s that NDVision supports.”
