Lauren Martin is a fourth year Marketing major at the University of Florida, approaching graduation in the Spring semester of 2017. Prior to taking on her current internship role at the Loss Prevention Research Council, she worked as a marketing intern with an integrated marketing firm called The Taproot Agency over in Tallahassee, Florida. Throughout these experiences, she has developed a passion for business in the retail industry where hopes to pursue a future career. ***
Brittany Milan Griffin in a 2014 graduate of the University of Florida, holding a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Law with a minor in Anthropology and a concentration in Psychology. Griffin has worked with the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC) since September of 2015, carrying a dual role as both a researcher and membership connect coordinator. Griffin facilitates and helps lead The Organized Retail Crime, Big Box, and Food and Drug Working Groups and Action Teams within the LPRC. She feels that the most interesting aspect of her position is working with offenders and analyzing methods in which they offend and which stores they prefer to offend, with Organized Retail Crime (ORC) holding a key area of interest within the loss prevention industry.
